Hiking trail conditions (as of August 2025, 9)

　Unlike at the foot of the mountain, the seasons are progressing from autumn to winter day by day. The days are getting shorter and the temperature is around 10°C in the mornings and evenings, so please be sure to dress warmly.

[Daisekkei Route]
The trail is in autumn before and after the Oyukikei route. It is marked with pink tape, so please be careful of falling rocks and slipping as you pass. You will walk about 300 meters on the snowfield. There are more cracks and other imperfections, so please make sure to stay on the red snowboard. Although the distance is short, crampons are necessary.

[Tsugaike Route, Yari Onsen Route]
There is still a little snow remaining on the slopes of Mt. Hakuba Norikura. There is still snow in some areas near Yarizawa, but it is passable, so please proceed with caution.
