FOR YOUR SAFETY
安全のために
Winter mountaineering and backcountry skiing are adventures in the untouched wilderness.
You have to take full responsibility and decide carefully. Meanwhile, you can have some stunning experience.
However, due to accidents or avalanches, not only you might lose your life, but also hurt your family and others.
In order to protect yourself, it is important to be well prepared and take all possible safety measures.
Apart from submitting Mountain Entry Application and using Online Map Application We also suggest you to use “Cocoheli” Service to ensure your safety
You can use the service by the following two methods.
Timesaver that Saves Lives
Cocoheli is a service that greatly shorten the rescue time. Sony's GPS is able to narrow down the search area based on the location history, and identify potential location quickly and accurately through direct connection. This saves your life by reducing the arrival time of the rescue team. Your family can also be relived by knowing your GPS location history.

Compact and Long Battery Life
Cocoheli can last for about 2 months on a single charge. When the battery level gets low, it switches to energy-saving mode and continues to transmit communication radio waves for up to two months even when there is no network service. It covers the risk of your smartphone being out of service area or running out of battery, so you can wait for rescue without panicking.
